HPI Drift Meister(As in lower turns)? Heard that motor burn brushes like drinking water...

Not really ah. Its the timing. HPI use the same timing for all their motors. The lower turn motors will then have really high RPM, making the brush wear faster. I time my motor to my liking and now its okay liao ;)

Re: RC Brushed Motor.

hi guys. can i ask something about sensored and sensorless here. hope TS dont mind. I dont wanna start a new thread cos if not the place will be messy. =x

from what i know sensored systems have no lag time. but how does that work. in other words, which is sensored, the motor or esc? Or both? Can i use a BL esc on a sensored motor or vice versa? Lets assume the number of T is the same. tks guys.

Both ESC and motor, theres a cable attaching to both. Basically what it does is to detect your motor timing,

Re: RC Brushed Motor.

Yea, Its about the hall sensor cable. If you dont plug in the hall sensor cable, then it is sensorless ah. Sensored motors can run as sensored or sensorless while sensorless motor can only run sensorless. Brusless ESC's are either sensored, sensorless or both ;)
