The Challenge Is Over!!!
Video of the SG Drifters 2008 'U.P.' Challenge is OUT!!!
All thanks to our greatest video man, Andrew, One Man Budget Productions.
Round of applause for his hardwork and efforts.

First of all, we would like to thank ALL participants for taking part in this wonderful event, we hope you enjoyed your time down at UPCC!

For those of you who have been living under a rock, 31st of August saw the SGDrifter's RC Drift Challenge that was held down at UPCC.

As many as 31 participants turned up for this event to try and claim the first place prize, a Yokomo Drift Kit!

Brothers and Organizers Zhirong(Dabomb) and Alex were down early at the track to set up the course for our fellow SGDrifters to come and set up their rigs before the competition began.

Like mentioned, the turn out was fantastic! Even more so, the rigs that came along with them were a sight to see!

Of course, no competition would be complete without a Camera man, and in our case, 2 camera men! Props to Colin (aka Picheers) for helping out with photo taking, thank you!

Some of the body shells featured that day were spectacular, but of course, non matched the price of the Sony body shell used by our amateur camera man who frantically tried to keep his camera from harms way!

Competition was stiff, and many struggled hard to keep their line, some were fast during their singles heat, but failed to perform well during doubles.

At the end of the day, only 3 out of the 31 participants rose to become Champions of the UP Challenge, and they are:

3rd Place: JJ!

2nd Place: Yuan He!

1st Place: Billy!

All in all this event was a success, and we owe it all to our fellow SGDrifters who made it possible!

Once again, we'd like to thank all of you for making this event a success, if you have any feedback whatsoever regarding the competition, do feel free to PM us or email to -email-.

Organizing Committee(Left to Right): Zhirong(Dabomb), Danny, Alex, Andrew(One Man Budget)

This is the SGDrifters team signing off, wishing all of you a great week, and we hope to see more of you guys again in future events....CHEERS!

Team SGDrifters.

SG Drifters at Police week carnival 2007
SG Drifters at Police week carnival 2007
Invited By Texas Petrochemical Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

1/10 RC cars in collaboration with 1:1 drift machines drifting simultaneously on the same tarmac meters away from each other right here in Singapore IN a police academy. Sounds impossible? Read on...

SG Drifters was invited for a 3 day event @ the old Police Academy to showcase and promote the art of 1/10 RC drifting!
Thanks to the organizers, we had a booth meters away from the 1:1 drift demo circuit to display our skills, dolled up bodyshells and most importantly, to share our passion of R/C Drifting with the crowd.

Our little demo track was packed to the brim when members of SGDrifters founding team Project One started the day with a big bang, skillfully maneuvering their cars in the tight circuit doing twin drifts and team runs Our audiences young and old are glued to our little cars and some even started cheering for us.

It was a great experience to drift RC cars while you can see and hear screeching tyres, orchestric exhaust notes and blow off valves of 1:1 drift tuned machines darting past you meters away. And guess what? All members of Project One are offered a ride in the 1:1 drift machines on the last day of the event!

It really was 3 amazing days to remember even though we were all burnt out by the end of the 3rd night. We sincerely hoped that you guys had as much fun as we had preparing for this event just for YOU!

Signing off
